The free account is simply a 3 day trial period; this is meant more than anything to test your camera compatibility, and is very easy to exceed the free limitations. Once you have confirmed that your camera is compatible you will need to order a subscription. If you want to upload only when motion is detected you will need to select this from the subscribe page, and also need to configure your camera so that motion upload only is enabled. In other words, our system will not be able to tell your camera what to upload, so you will need to set this yourself.
For motion alerts, the best option would be to install our mobile application so you can setup push notifications for motion alerts. The only automated email for motion would be the daily activity reports which you can enable from the camera settings page - this will provide a daily summary of all activity.
