 I recently updated my camera and is uploading to CameraFTP as it should but when I go to the events they will not play.  Why is that?

I checked it and could not find any problem. I assume you can view your cameras, but cannot play the events? If so, please send an email to CameraFTP support showing which event cannot be played. A screenshot will be very helpful. We also need to know which device (iOS, Android or PC) you use to play the events.
