Does the "free" service (account) expire or close because of lack of activity, logon, or transfer data? - or will my data always stay there until I need it without having to log on or move data somewhere (perhaps monthly...?)

Free service doesn't expire. You don't need to logon monthly. However, free service is designed for personal and casual use only. There are a lot of restrictions. For business use, please consider our premium service.
