If you want to have continuous recording setup, you can certainly do this so that your camera is uploading 24 hours per day. With continuous recording you can still setup motion alerts so that in the morning you can look to your event log for any alerts. This will save time having to fast-forward through all the uploaded footage manually. Still, if you would like to use the player in a 'fast forward' mode, you can certainly use the feature that allows you to increase the playback frame rate (seen on the viewer page).
